
PTSA Encourages You to Be Informed and Vocal
Many of you may be aware the Cobb County School Board estimates a budget shortfall of $79 million for the next fiscal year. This is a critical time for our school district which has suffered multiple years of budget cuts. As a PTSA, we are encouraging you to watch the budget video on the Cobb County Schools website, http://www.cobbk12.org/budget/ and then let your opinions be heard. We need to be proactive now and send letters and emails to our school board representatives, our county commissioners, and our state legislative representatives. Attend meetings. Get yourself up to date on the issues. Help us keep the budget at the forefront of our elected officials’ attention. Some upcoming opportunities:
